On Sunday 18th September Maverick Industries held the annual Churchdown Jam. Although this years jam was actually put back due to the poor weather back in June, which seems to be a common theme when it comes to the Churchdown Jam, the crowds and riders were still out in force.

Nevertheless the September jam was one of the best I’ve been to in a long time! The turnout was massive with riders from all over Gloucestershire and even further a field coming to win prizes and have a good time.

Video Rather Than Photo

Each year I’ve gone to the Churchdown Jam I’ve always brought my Nikon D700/D800 and shot quite a few still photos. All the lighting and trying to capture the action. This year however I thought I’d try something a bit different…..video! The main reason for video is recently I’ve bought a Panasonic G7, mainly for some more “vlog” style content and behind the scenes on shoots.

So this year I brought out the G7 and filmed some action, which can be seen in the video above.

Until Next Year!

Once again the guys at Maverick put on one amazing jam!! Helped massively by the weather, but you can see from the video everyone seemed hyped for the day. Can’t wait for next years jam and see what the local talent can pull off trick wise next year.
